This may not mean much to many of you folks but Chiswick is losing one of its minor gems tomorrow in that Chiswick Snooker Club is closing after gawd knows how many years. I've been a member since Adam was a lad and Chad, the gaffer, has had to succumb to pressure from the freeholder and the place is being turned into offices so if anyone wants to buy a snooker table he'd probably do you a good deal I am well choked as a few frames now and then is one of the great simple pleasures of life.
