I work as a volunteer on Tuesday afternoons in the Friends' Shop on the first floor of CXH where we sell the books and yes please, we are always grateful for second-hand books, provided they are clean and in good condition.

The dates of the main book sales next month are Tuesday, 2nd Sep and Wednesday, 24th Sep and they are held on the landing outside our shop from 10am to 2.30pm.

For those interested, we shall also be having a sale of baby and toddler hand knitted clothes on Wed 29th October, again 10am to 2.30pm in the same place.

Philippa - we don't take videos anymore as there's no demand for them.

And yes, we have two lovely gentlemen who come as volunteers to play the piano and they are very much appreciated by all of us.
