There are 137 new dwellings in total in the whole development not just the tower in Essex Place. Claire Moran wrote: "It is proposed to change the use of the building from offices to domestic. This building will be bigger than anything in the surrounding area and goes against LB of Hounslow’s own planning guidelines." You are getting confused. Empire House is already there and is just being refurbished. They can change to residential from office without planning permission. Claire Moran wrote: "There are also other developments nearby, which leads to exceeding the area’s housing quota." There is no such thing as an area housing quota. The second tower on Essex Place is the one that people are likely to object to. I have no feel for the likelihood of these objections being successful but your own representations would carry more weight if you obtained a basic familiarity with the details of the development and the rudiments of planning regulations. |
