Standing around Idly this morning as I had my vehicle hemmed in my the road works in Spencer Road. I was slowly looking around, and spotted a CCTV camera fixed to a lamp post on the end of Bolton Road opposite the Recycling containers. OK, it's a 360 degree camera so it can double up to also look at the parking bays at the front of the shops. This seems to be one of those temporary cameras that appear now and then when there is a problem in a certain area, like the graffiti artist in Barnes alley where a camera appeared on a lamp post to find out who was defacing the walls. Funny, when we asked the police if the council could temporarily fit one in our road to try and find out who was carry out frequent damage to our cars, it seemed as though amnesia set in, with a lot of oooing and aaarrring So where do LBOH keep these cameras? |
