Trudie, HEMS always have a crew available during their normal hours of operation and if there is any reason why they cannot fly, ie, bad weather or aircraft not serviceable, they travel by car.Not ideal, but they are still availble.4 air ambulances would be the perfect number if money was not a consideration.However, with 2 you could have one covering north of the Thames and one covering south of the Thames |
