| True, but for me 4 hours on a ferry is just too long (think I'd fly to Dinard and hire a car for Brittany, or simply use Eurotunnel and drive down to Normandy. Having not used Eurotunnel for the last couple of years and, purely to save money, used the Dover to Calais/Dunkirk ferries, I recently travelled through the tunnel again and it is just so much quicker, it always seems to take ages to drive off a ferry once it docks. |
