Good ! Sales volumes are half what they were pre-crash.The lack of tock and sales are driving the prices we are seeing, not the intrinsic value of your house. The higher they go, the further they could fall with all the problems that will bring. Imagine in to or three years when interest rates are back to 3% (and mortgage payments have doubled... You wont be so happy to live in a high value area then.. massive payment hikes, unable to sell as hardly anyone could afford to buy, homes being reposessed.. A period of stable prices is the best situation for the medium/long term for everyone. |
