"Rather than just Thames Road, what about making all of the area south of the A4 a 20mph zone? (with the exception of the A316)" Excellent idea, I'd actually consider reducing the limit on the A316 by Chiswick and Strand schools, too, but the rest is a no-brainer. Back to Thames Road - where on earth can you do 50 along there? Half of it's got regular speed cushions and cars parked on both sides, then there's a chicane under the railway bridge, then a tight reverse 90 degree bend that has a realistic maximum speed of 20 anyway unless you like the taste of bricks through the windscreen. |
